Shawna segued into the fintech sector in 2008 while at Capital One Home Loans helping to build a proprietary POS application and then implementing the Empower LOS application.

Kim’s direct mortgage journey started at First Volunteer Bank where she led post-closing and operations. This is also where Kim added technology to her mortgage expertise. Throughout her career she has been responsible for defining, leading and executing on concurrent, complex technology implementations and customizations. After working in community banking for 16 years, she joined Ellie Mae as an Implementation Consultant where she broadened her Encompass skills and learned best practices.

In addition to Ellie Mae’s Encompass LOS and CRM, Kim has implemented, maintained, or customized Blend, Mortgage Cadence, LaserPro, DecisionPro, JHA 20/20, and OnBase. Kim has a proven record of successful implementations, project management, end-user training content creation and delivery. Since the release of the 1st version of Encompass, Brian held multiple client-facing critical positions and responsibilities. He was a crucial resource to cross-functional internal teams at Ellie Mae, providing subject matter expertise to facilitate product and delivery improvements. In addition, Brian owned a pipeline of 60+ clients providing first-class management and delivery of virtual admin services. Before Brian's work at Ellie Mae, he held system administration roles for both Calyx and Genesis LOS applications, at prestigious and well-known banks in California and Pennsylvania.

Brian enjoys leveraging his academic education in computer science and vast experience in the mortgage industry to help clients resolve complex technical issues. He determines not only the resolution also the root cause to then develop, manage, and execute action plans for long-term resolution, thus helping clients improve their loan life cycle, efficiency, and performance. Brian is a Certified Encompass Administrator.

Zachary worked directly with clientele ranging from Strategic to large Enterprise organizations. This front-line, hands-on involvement in analysis, resolution, and improvement of different Encompass systems has provided Zachary with valuable insight into what organizations expect of their software and how to best deliver on those expectations.

While at Ellie Mae, Zachary also led the Encompass Core/Admin team for two major Encompass version releases as the primary Release Command Center member, where he not only honed an aptitude for in-depth application defect-testing but also earned respect from his superiors on the Product, Development, and Engineering teams in being able to efficiently research, document, and communicate various types of system issues.

Zachary has a proven track record of exceeding expectations in supporting Encompass systems at Ellie Mae, where he received high praises from clients for his knowledge and professionalism. Nicole Vaughn

Nicole has been in the mortgage industry since 1999 starting out as a processor and moved quickly to underwriter in the non-conforming mortgage sector.  Nicole transitioned out of this sector to become a delegated underwriter for several conforming lenders and Manager of Operations for a mortgage broker with offices in several states in the Midwest.

In 2007, Nicole moved on to the Director of Mortgage Operations role with Farm Credit Services of America where she was an integral part of the creation and implementation of a proprietary LOS and several years later with Encompass. In addition to her leadership role, Nicole also served as the Encompass administrator for the mortgage team.

Nicole’s entrance into the fintech sector was with Ellie Mae in 2014 where she managed the Technical Support team that specialized in mortgage and the Encompass Product and Pricing Service. Approximately 2 years later, she moved to the Implementation team at Ellie Mae.

In 2019, Nicole moved to Roostify where she served as Team Lead and Implementation Manager for their point of sale product.

Prior to A&S Elite, LLC, Nicole has led over 100+ implementations that led to successful deployments that carried very high customer satisfaction ratings. Along with extensive mortgage operations knowledge, expertise and leadership, Nicole also brings her passion for customer satisfaction and ability to create efficiencies for clients with all of her projects.
